OOLG: Council Boss visits International Breweries, Gateway Plant.

The Executive Chairman, Obafemi Owode Local Government, Hon. Amb. Ogunsola Adesina Lanre, represented by his Vice, Hon.Titus Babatunde Olusesi visited International Breweries, Gateway Plant at Bara.

Hon. Olusesi stressed that the local government appreciates the company choice of location while establishing their Plant in Ogun state, which has added to the economic development and source of revenue base of the government.

He further requested that the managements of the company should extend their empowerment and initiative programs beyond Bara community to other areas of the council, so that other wards can also benefit from the gesture and implored them not to forget their corporate social responsibility within the area.

Meanwhile, he was taken round the factory to inspect and see the measures put in place to cater for the safety of the workers of the company.

Mr. Akintayo Oguntunde,  Plant Manager, reiterates that the company placed values on safety of lives and healthcare of their staffers, as it is a must that they live in an hygienic environment with over 400 staffs working in gateway plant.
He further maintained that the company just installed infiltration machine to reduce the turbidity of the final effluent. While he used the medium to requests support from the government to operate profitable in terms of good roads, stable and availability of forex trading in enhancing their zeal to expand their scope of business in Nigeria.

"I am delighted to let you know that by 4th October,2023  International Breweries will mark 4years, 11months of operation without recording death of any staff", said Oguntunde.  
Amongst the entourage of the council, includes, Hon. Fasanya Idowu, Supervisor for Agric., Hon. Risikat akintoye, Supervisor for Community and Social Development, Hon. Sodeke Abidemi, Supervisor for Works and Housing. Hon. Noah Aliu, Special Adviser on  Roads and Infrastructure.
