Wife of Ogun State Governor, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun through her Foundation, Ajose has distributed school bags and other items to school children across the state to lessen parents' back to school expenses towards the resumption of their children for a new academic session.
Mrs. Abiodun during the symbolic presentation of the school bags and other items to some of the children at the Presidential Lodge, GRA, Abeokuta said it was imperative for her through her Ajose Foundation to support families and the children considering the present high cost of living adding that it would help as a buffer to parents to an extent.
The governor's wife admonished the children to begin the new session with determination to be more dedicated to their studies and be consistent in their good approach towards their school works charging the SS 3 students among them to make their parents and the state proud by coming out in flying colors in their final exams.
Appreciating the gesture on behalf of the children, Director, Primary Education, Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Mrs. Bamidele Makinde noted that the First Lady had since the inception of her husband's first term in office supported schools and the children across the state with education materials, girl child training and other interventions promising the Ministry's continued support for all her initiatives.
Four of the children, Oyewole AbdulHazeem, Kasali Olamide, Oladipo Solomon and Oyewole Feyikemi on behalf of other children unanimously appreciated the First Lady for her love and care for them and promised to make her proud by heeding all her advice and admonitions.
