OKE-ONA COMMUNITY STAKEHOLDERS DRUM SUPPORT FOR ADC GOVERNORSHIP AND HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY CANDIDATES



Stakeholders in Oke-Ona Community of Abeokuta North Local Government have thrown their weight behind the Governorship and House of Assembly Candidates of the Africa Democratic Congress, (ADC) in the forthcoming general elections, Bar. 'Biyi Otegbeye and Hon. Kazeem Olagoke Omotade.

The stakeholders' meeting which was attended by 10 leaders and well grounded political gladiators in each of the five wards of the community, pledged unwavering commitment and support towards ensuring the victory of the governorship candidate of the party *Bar. 'Biyi Otegbeye and Hon. Kazeem Olagoke* who is the only House of Assembly candidate from the Oke Ona Community of Abeokuta North Local Government in the 2023 election. 

Addressing the audience during the official unveiling of the party and presentation of the House of assembly Candidate, *Hon. Gani Ademuyiwa,* reiterated the need to be committed and focused towards ensuring the total success of the party during the general elections. He emphasised the need to lead by example and appreciate the three other communities of Owu, Gbagura and Oke- Ogun of Abeokuta North Local Government, for supporting the candidature of the ADC House of Assembly flag bearer. 
The candidate, Hon. Kazeem Olagoke seized  the opportunity to thank leaders and party faithfuls for their efforts and support so far while pledging to give equitable and quality representation if elected to represent Abeokuta North State Constituency.
 
Oke Ona Community stakeholders also took time to celebrate their own whose birthday also fell within the week of his official presentation. 
Eminent personalities at the inaugural meeting include, Comrade  Ishaq Bada, former Vice chairman, Abeokuta North LG, Hon. Ayo Abiola, former SLG, Abeokuta-North LG and Alhaji Shakirudeen Ayilara.

Also in attendance were former councillors representing the five wards of Oke-Ona Community; *Hon. Rahmon Arobieke, Hon. Surura Kemi Ilori, Hon. Olufemi Akin Jolaoso* among other notable dignitaries .
