85 petitions have been received from parties at the ongoing Judicial Commission of Enquiry's sitting in Ogun State, to unravel illegal land transactions.
Speaking at the Conference room of the Ministry of Justice in Abeokuta, the Chairman of the Commission, Justice Solomon Olugbemi said petitioners should present accurate facts on land matters.
Justice Olugbemi noted that the Commission aimed to curb bottlenecks, delays, and corruption in land acquisition and documentation, saying petitioners and concerned agencies of government should know that they were under oath before given evidence, as all statements presented before the Commission would be documented.
According to him, "The Commission is made up of reputable professionals that will handle any issue and make findings on cases tendered before it for necessary recommendations".
