ABIODUN CALLS FOR RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has called for tolerance and mutual respect among the religious faithful in the State and the nation at large, as the values are important for national development.

 Governor Abiodun stated this in Abeokuta, at the 2nd term inauguration of the State Chairman and New Executives of  Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN).

Abiodun, represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo 
Talabi stated that it was imperative to respect the religious beliefs of one another as people, saying ”we have been living together and respecting our faith and we must continue in that way without trying to alter it for selfish or political gains”.
Abiodun urged the people to fear God and continue to maintain peaceful co-existence.

In his inaugural speech, the new Chairman, Apostle David Otaru appreciated the founding fathers and other stakeholders who had contributed immensely to the construction of the new Secretariat of the Christian body tagged "Legacy House".

Otaru acknowledged the huge donations of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the founder of the Living Faith Church ( Winners' Chapel), Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Superintendent, Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, among other notable church leaders, saying their contributions were significant to the development achieved on the Secretariat project so far.

The PFN Chairman pledged to hand over a more profitable, vibrant and resourceful body of Christ to the next administration after another four-year tenure.
