SO-SAFE APPREHENDS NOTORIOUS KIDNAP KINGPIN TERRORIZING OGUN COMMUNITIES

The  State Government owned grassroots security Outfit, Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps otherwise known as So-Safe Corps has arrested a notorious kidnap syndicate, Bature Ibrahim who has been behind security unrest in Oke-Ogun axis in the State.

The arrest which was contained in a press statement issued by the State Commander of the Corps ,  Soji Ganzallo through the office of his Director of Information, ACC Moruf Yusuf said that "the Officers and Men of Olorunda Post of the Corps under Oke-Ogun Division were put on their toes few weeks back and the Directorate of Operation of the Corps  was also instructed to secure the identified black spots across the state and to  revisit the records of suspected kidnappers to effect their arrests.

Meanwhile, Bature was arrested on Saturday 15th January, 2022 at 06:05hrs along Olorunda-Imala road attempting to escape through Olorunda Town after he  got a hint of his search by members of his syndicate who were in the custody of the Nigeria Police Anti Kidnapping Department, State Headquarter, Eleweran, Ogun State.

Items found on the suspect were clothings and cash( naira) which had been handed over to the Nigeria Police Anti Kidnapping Department, State Headquarters, Eleweran, Ogun State Command by the Corps and the Seriki Fulani of Olorunda Town same day at 08:32hrs for further investigation and likely prosecution.
