Ogun State Government has assured the management of Jaiz Bank Plc. that the Hajj Savings Scheme introduced by National Hajj Commission of Nigeria(NAHCON) in year 2020 is on course.
The Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Salau Dauda made this known while receiving the management of Jaiz Bank Plc. in his Office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, said for the Scheme to be fully accepted by the people, the Bank as part of its operation, should embark on adequate sensitization in order to inform, enlighten, and educate relevant stakeholders about the Scheme, adding that physical structure of the bank in the State would go a long way in convincing the people on its authenticity.
Alhaji Salau, affirmed that the Ogun State Government led by Prince Dapo Abiodun has approved the procurement of necessary equipment for the smooth running of the Scheme, saying the Board is ready to set the ball rolling.
