Standup for Women Society (SWS) calls on Muslims to continue to be steadfast in their prayers in order to ensure sustainable peace in the country.
This was made known in a statement by the National President Standup for Women Society (SWS) Barrister Deborah A. Ijadele-Adetona ESQ to celebrate Eid - El- Adha.
In her good will message the president said Muslims should avail themselves of the opportunity of the feast of sacrifice to pray for the good of the nation and the safety of the people.
SWS maintains that the feast of sacrifice reminds us all of the loyalty and obedience of Prophet Ibrahim to Almighty Allah.
She said even though this year's celebration came in the midst of the global pandemic Coronavirus, insecurity, banditry, high cost of food prices among others, it should be a time to remember the poor, needy and less privileged in our society.
The National President further called on Muslims to continue to be pray for the peace and stability of the Nation.
