In view of the agitations by Political Parties that the notification for Party Primaries is too short, the Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC) hereby extends the date for the Party Primaries to Thursday, 3rd June, 2021, instead of the previous deadline of Thursday, 27th May, 2021.
The Commission also wishes to inform the public of another stakeholders’ meeting towards the 2021 Local Government Elections, holding on Friday, 28th May, 2021 at the Commission’s Headquarters, Oke-ilewo, Abeokuta, at 10:00 am prompt.
Political Parties and other invited stakeholders are expected to send only two representatives each, in compliance with Covid-19 guidelines.
