SWS President calls for prayer at Easter

As Christians all over the world celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the President of 

Standup for Women Society (SWS) Liberator Deborah Ijadele-Adetona Esq has felicitated with members and the general public to celebrate in moderacy and use the Easter period to pray for Nigeria.

The National President of SWS, made this known in a statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary Bilkisu Ado Zango, said members should use the period to pray ceaselessly for the association and for the Nation at large.

She said the Easter Period should be used as a time for reflection and sacrifice while also emulating the teaching of Jesus Christ to be patient and forgiving.

Liberator Ijadele said "as I join in wishing the Christian faithfuls in Nigeria and across the globe a happy Easter celebration, l am calling on all Women to Pray for our Country. Nigeria is going through a phase where the Coronavirus has drastically affected the economy and  livelihood of most women, insecurity has displaced lot of Women and their families, poverty has become so glaring and insecurity has become the order of the day."

According to her, prayers and selfless sacrifice will definitely see Nigerians through these trying times.
