Ogun First Lady Hosts Easter Kiddies Party

First Lady and Wife of the Ogun state Governor, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun has reiterated the need for continued support for the special needs children in order to help them fulfill their ambitions in life.

Mrs. Abiodun restated this during the Easter Kiddies get together, organized by her office for the kids at Valley View Auditorium, Oke Igbein, Abeokuta.

She said"I have witnessed first hand the incredible potentials of our special needs children and I believe that with the right support,nothing should limit them to exceed the expectations of society and even the high ambitions they have for themselves."

   The First Lady expressed gratitude to God for keeping the children in Ogun state through the Covid-19 pandemic affirming the present administration's commitment to their welfare.

"I thank God everyday for the lives of our beautiful children because they hold the promise of a glorious future for us and dear country. And that is why this administration, His Excellency Governor Dapo Abiodun and my office are always working to make the welfare of children our top priority."

   She acknowledged the essence of the death and resurrection of Christ reminding the children that the celebration was for the hope in Christ for a better future.

   She said "While we are alive and because Easter is a celebration of life that we have because Jesus died and rose again, we have every reason to rejoice. We are celebrating the hope we have in Christ and that hope promises us a better future."
