Celebrating Arc Fari-Arole as he clocks 62...

According to the Scripture, in Psalm 90:12: "Teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom".  

The occasion marking the 62nd birthday of the Managing Director (MD) and Special Adviser (SA), Ogun State Property and Investment Corporation  (OPIC), Arc Abiodun Fari-Arole, is yet another opportunity to appreciate God's faithfulness in the life of an easy-going Guru in the housing sector.

A professional to the core who was recently honoured as one of the most influential Architects in the Nigeria Construction Industry award, is a pointer to the fact that Fari Arole is a top notcher to reckon with, in the affairs of structural development in Nigeria and beyond.

The Ijebu-Ode born and bred foremost practitioner in the architectural sector came on board to build the future of the Gateway State, following his appointment as Managing Director of the OPIC by the Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.

Before his appointment, Fari-Arole was Principal partner at Grid Associates and Managing partner Grid Associates Limited (Design&Turkey projects).

He attended the prestigious Ijebu-Ode Grammar School, Ijebu-ode, Ogun State, between 1971 and 1975, and subsequently, St. Anthony Grammar School Esuru, Ijebu-Mushin, where he completed his secondary education, between 1975 and 1976.

In 1976, in his quest for higher qualifications, he was admitted at the Federal Government College, Odogbolu, Ogun State where he obtained his Higher School Certificate (HSC) “A-Levels in 1978, shortly after which he gained admission into University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), Ile-Ife, Osun State where he completed his first degree course in Architecture in 1983.

Subsequently, in1985, he completed his Post Graduate programme in Architecture where a obtained a MSc degree.

Fari-Arole is a registered member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects and Architects Registration Council of Nigeria. He belongs to several professional bodies. He is a devout Christian as well as a socialite.

No doubt, he is a round peg in a round hole, a worthy partner in building the future of the gateway State to an enviable position. 

The OPIC helmsman is happily married to his beautiful wife, and the union is blessed with lovely daughters.
