The newly sworn-in Chairman of the Ogun State Civil Service Commission, Engr. Tokunbo Odebunmi has promised that the Commission would speed up action on the outstanding promotion process to make it a success.
Odebunmi who had earlier appreciated the Prince Dapo Abiodun led-administration for carefully selecting political office holders, also assured that the Commission would discharge its duties for the period of their stay in office.
Engr. Odebunmi commended the management and staff of the Commission for holding forth before the emergence of the Commission members, promising to add value and improve on the well-being and welfare of the Civil Servants.
He charged workers to justify the salary they earn by discharging their duties diligently and maintain good service delivery.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Permanent Secretary of the Commission, Mr. Fatai Ogunlana, welcomed the Chairman and the members of the Commission, describing the Civil Service Commission as the mother of all commissions, praying that their tenure in office be filled with landmark achievements for the benefit of mankind.
Other members of the Commission include, Hon. Adebowale Ojuri, Ms. Nike Osoba, Mr. Gabriel Falola and Alhaji Biliaminu Adegbenro.
