Ogun State Head of Service, TPL. Amope Chokor has said that civil servants were key to the implementation of Government policies, in order to spread dividends of
democracy to the citizenry.
Mrs. Chokor who stated this in a chat with newsmen, advised workers to continue adding value to the society and serve with integrity, urging them to be courageous in the discharge of their duties and respect the people while explaining the reason for taking certain decisions.
"Thank God for the opportunity to serve. I made up my mind to add value to the society, serve with integrity, and you too must do the same. I did not bend the rules to do what is contrary because civil servants must have integrity. Time is changing, so, you must adapt and do the needful. God's time is the best, don't run ahead of your time. If you want to make money, go and do business, but if you chose to be here, focus on the job and put in your best", she said.
The HoS thanked the Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for being supportive, especially giving approvals to all the requests brought before him.
