OGSG RE- ASSURES INDUSTRIALISTS OF IMPROVED PARTNERSHIP FOR EASE OF DOING BUSINESS

Ogun State Deputy Governor, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele has reassured industrialists in the State of improved partnership with the private sector by putting in place policies that would enable business to thrive through its various business initiatives that would enhance rapid industrial development. 




Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele who made this known during a factory visit to Eko Supreme Resources Limited, Primera Foods Limited and  Natural Prime Limited in OPIC industrial Estate Agbara said Prince Dapo Abiodun had placed a high premium on the relationship between the manufacturers in the State hence, his regular interface with companies in different capacities in the State. 


She added that Governor Dapo Abiodun would leave no stone unturned  to ensuring that Ogun State was number one investment destination of choice in the Country, noting that since his administration assumed office, it has met with Manufacturers Association of Nigeria  (MAN) and related companies about five times in different capacities.


" This visit is to see what they do, how they are working in their community, supporting our agenda with their employment Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) and to also request from them their support for our CSR agenda" she remarked. 


"The Investment Promotion Council policy of this Government epitomises what we are saying about ease of doing business because it would provide a one-stop-shop for investors into the state, help Investors gets the information needed for setting up a business under this umbrella"


 "Coming here to see a successful business that has been in the state since 2014, I believe this will encourage other people to come into the state. They started with one company but now, there are three companies, this means they believed in Ogun state and they intend to continue to invest in the state" she remarked.


Earlier in his welcome address, the General Manager Finance, Primera Foods Limited, Mr Toyin Elefontuyi, appreciated the state government and in particular the visit of the Deputy Governor, saying the visit underscores the present administration’s interest in Commerce and Industry. 


He noted that the dialogue the Governor had with captains of Industries in the state recently was indeed a step in the right direction, saying he was very sure that government was already looking into the issues raised during the meeting , especially the states of roads and incidence of multiple taxation.


The Deputy Governor was accompanied by the Hon. Akinpelu Aina, a former member of Ogun State House of Assembly,  Consultant to the Governor on Media, Mr. Femi Ogbonnikan and Permanent Secretary,  Ministry of Commerce and Industry,  Mrs. Lydia Fajounbo.
