Ogun State Property and Investment Corporation (OPIC) has been described as a self-sustaining Corporation, which had continually ensured construction of standard buildings for the State indigenes.
Chairman, House Committee on Investment, Commerce and Industry, Hon. Kemi Oduwole stated this while on oversight visit to the agency, to assess the performance of the 2019 Budget, for the first half of the year.
Hon. Oduwole charged the Corporation to increase awareness for the projects being executed to attract more patronage, adding that its projects were of high standards.
Speaking, Acting Managing Director, OPIC, Mrs Ibiyemi Adesoye disclosed that the corporation had embarked on renovation and review of the prices of event centre and commercial buildings, with a view to increase Internally Generated Revenue.
"OPIC is a commercialised enterprise, we will never under value our projects, proper evaluation is done while professionals are involved in the construction of these buildings, committees has been set-up to review the prices of commercial buildings in the OPIC towers, so as to increase its IGR", she said.
