OPIC SET TO DEVELOP A NEW ESTATE

In view of the agenda of Governor Dapo Abiodun-led administration to create an enabling environment for Public Private Partnership (PPP), the Ogun State Property and Investment Corporation (OPIC), has commenced the development of OPIC King’s Court Estate.


          The Director, Business Development, Mr Dehinde Boye stated this in a chat with journalists in Abeokuta, saying the Estate has a 48,685.34 square meter, approximately 4.87 hectares of land, along the Presidential Boulevard, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta.

          He noted that the new Gated Estate would accommodate 51 villas of six bedrooms and an attached Boy’s Quarter each, adding that other facilities to be provided include, a shopping mall, club house, recreation centre, potable water, swimming pool and uninterrupted power supply, among others.

          According to Boye, the new development would aid the growth of the State’s economy as an investment hub in Nigeria, by attracting investors which is fundamental to the economic development and the individual prosperity of the State.
          He further hinted that the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun would be performing the ground breaking and foundation laying for the new Estate, as part of activities to commemorate his 100 days in Office and the 35th anniversary celebration of OPIC.
