The meeting which started around 3.00pm at the Council Chamber of the State House, Abuja.
Those at the meeting include the Governor Dapo Abiodun, His Deputy, Engr Noimot Salako-Oyedele, former governors, Olusegun Osoba and Gbenga Daniel, and Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, GNI.
Also at the meeting are Segun Awolowo, traditional rulers and members of the National Assembly from the state and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha.
Sources within the presidency informed our reporter that, the meeting was scheduled by the president to broker truce between the immediate past governor of Ogun state, Senator Ibikunle Amosun and Governor Dapo Abiodun.
This may not be unconnected with the recent pronouncement by Governor Abiodun that, his administration would probe Senator Amosun's regime in the state.
The meeting was still in progress at the time of filing this report.
